Red-bellied Proboscis Frog

Melanophryniscus macrogranulosus Braun, 1933

Melanophryniscus macrogranulosus is  a frog known from only two locations in Rio Grande do Sul. Endemic to the region, it has an area of occurrence possibly less than 10km², being classified as an endangered species due to habitat loss and pollution.
