Bokermannohyla vulcaniae Vasconcelos and Giaretta, 2005

Bokermannohyla vulcaniae is an endemic tree frog from the Atlantic Forest, occurring in only one location in Minas Gerais. Mining and farming threaten the few remaining forest fragments in the region, leaving the tree frog in critical danger of extinction.

A Perereca-do-Vulcão é uma das diversas espécies de animais que só ocorre na região de Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais. A espécie sofre com a diminuição do seu habitat, os riachos no interior de florestas.
